At #Nairn Falls, #Pemberton, British Columbia, Canada. It is a sacred place to the Líl'wat nation #lilwat. This community was growing by the side of the falls, in the spray, on basalt talus. To the best of my ability - #Cryptogramma acrostichoides (parsley fern), #Micranthes ferruginea (russet saxifrage), #Penstemon fruticosus (shrubby penstemon), #Arctostaphylos uva-ursi (kinnikinnick or bearberry), #mosses.

#Cucurbita maxima 'Red Warty Thing', originally introduce by John Howard Gregory of Massachusetts in 1897 as 'Victor Winter Squash' and recently repopularised under its new name. It's thought to have been an accidental cross between a Hubbard squash and a pumpkin; Gregory is also credited with breeding 'Blue Hubbard'.
