Tux has (unfortunately) successfully driven away his mama and taken her place by the back door. He has even mastered the "I'm cute and hungry" look. What a handsome boy he is though ♥️

At the moment there isn't much I can do about his mama except look after her if she shows up again. Such is the life of stray cats I guess. 🙁

This fine gentleman failed to show up for supper last night, leaving me to worry because he is usually very punctual. But he just showed up to politely ask for a snack. 😅 This is still the closest he'll get to me, no matter how hungry he is.

WELL THEN. Guess how we found out they separated #MamaLemon from her #kittens and released her back to the streets? She's been here, searching and calling for her babies for hours now. We thought she had escaped, so I called the shelter and they explained they released her. At least she's sterilised now. Poor mama 😢

The first thing I saw when I came downstairs this morning was mama Lemon looking at me through the window, wondering why breakfast was taking so long 🤣 While she was yelling and hissing at me I suddenly heard another meow, and as I looked up I saw a startled Tux scampering away again.

So yeah, looks like they're both here to stay for the foreseeable future. (Still no luck getting a TNR set up, made another attempt today)
