#zovietfrance are so inspiring... listening to their podcast

:zoviet*france: - What Is Not True

Two live recordings from 1993.

I liked it the first time I heard it, but I haven't really felt it the way I do now, until today. Low-key, ritualistic trance music —or whatever you want to call it.

As I've written before: I need more :zoviet*france:!

Does anybody have better quality album cover scans of everything in the three #ZovietFrance “Chasse” boxes? Already tried Internet Archive and Last dot eff-em to no avail. Please and thank you.

Ominous, but the little drumbox cymbals do make it friendlier. The day's playlist continues. #NowPlaying #CurrentlyListening #music #ZovietFrance https://soundcloud.com/zoviet-france/corrugated

Please, please, please give me Zoviet France CD reissues. May I suggest a box? Or rather boxes.

#NowPlaying From April last year, an interview and performance with #ZovietFrance at the #InaGRM Presences Electronique festival. Always a treat to see them live. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69bOQOuMbZE

@icastico @vinylrecords I had to look #ZovietFrance up, had never heard of them before. The first article I read began “They could neither play instruments ...” I picked an album at random (Garista) ... holy heck, I was in a band ages ago (#Dynamicaracket) and we were definitely kindred spirits!

What the heck was a band like ZF doing in a gas station, anyway? lol

London peeps!

Many thanks to #zovietfrance for including Mu in their recent broadcast of A Duck in a Tree.

A Beautiful Brutal Betrayal — wall of sound that engulfs the listener.

Brooding soundscapes morph into an introspective landscape of drones in the style of Zoviet France and a Lustmord atmosphere with an engaging, evolving melodic ‘lead’.

Impressionistic and emotive, the recording burrows deep until it reaches to a final betrayal.
