Watched a YouTube video about the WRT54G tonight, so of course I had to pull out mine just to look at it, I even had the fancy high gain antennas.

This thingwas the heart of my family's network for many years. I'm tempted to try and boot it up since I know I had some custom firmware loaded on it, I had DDWRT at one point, but I think I switched to something else near the end, was it tomato or something like that?

It must be close to the birthday of the #WRT54G because this is the third story in a matter of days and perhaps, the second that I've posted about. I think I still have one of these in storage. I was running #OpenWrt on it and it froze up. If I still have it, I now have the tools and knowledge to debrick it. I plan on cleaning out that shed this year. I still have the wireless card that came with it though and it still works too.
