@joplinapp is an amazing #NoteTakingApp which I've been using for the past 1 and a half year already!

After migrating out from #AppleNotes, I've tried other alternatives and, by far, Joplin was the best for me, for its simplicity yet feature rich.

I use it for quick notes, but also to write long texts.

It's easy to organize and search for your notes, and the tag system is very handy, specially to group scattered notes!

I really recommend it to everyone!

  6. Now when I think about this... I kind of get to like #Sims4 being so full of painfully American stereotypes I know from reading a lot of novels. Hippies living in campers? Conspiracy theory freaks with weird machines on yards? Teenage werewolves occupying squats in abandoned factories? Cowboys and ranchers?

Several years ago I was very active in #writting communities in Polish group blogs. Mainly in fantasy settings, but there were many different genres. It had specific thrill - creating stories, not intended to have an end like novel, embedded with universe shared with other authors and their stories. Authors influences stories of others in subtle ways. Interactive living world shaping stories and being shaped by them.
Currently, after death of group blogging spheres, I couldn't find anything scratching that particular #storytelling itch. Writing short stories for competions - or even for myself - is not exactly the same.

And I feel #TheSims4 with current features is another partial substitute for me. I love taking some of existing things, shaping them slightly more to my tastes and mixing it with my own original visions. Using existing aesthetics and atmosphere and expanding it. Creating many parallel stories in shared universe.
I have a lot of official DLCs and even more weird mods. I play with aging disabled globally to have full control on continuous story I want to create here. I try to catch some "vibe" and follow it.

  11. I think it should be basic human right in moments of crisis have a compatible person to whom you can explain your worries and your fascinations or real interest. It cannot be compared sometimes with writting and describing and analyzing but in the text form.

So this post says basic human right for meaningful conversation

The city on fire outside bathed the room in red, then orange and yellow as the wind shifted the smoke and flames. The lieutenant struggled to hold his body in the least painful posture as a foot crushed his right calf driving his shin into the floor.

Gíana tightened her grip of his hair and carefully enunciated every word so there would be no misunderstanding. “You have stolen from her that which is irreplaceable. Her daughters.. were unto me as my own children.”

“I was following his orders.” He pleaded blindly, unsure of even who he had killed.

    “We know…” Gíana coldly replied.

The lieutenant watched as a naked woman with shaggy black hair, who could be no more than about five foot seven, switched from choking his commanding officer, to grabbing him by the collar. Medb said something in the Rhai'r-tir tongue, and grabbed a support beam for stability before using the officer as a cestus to punch the wall. The building shook with a THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! Each wetter sounding than the last, until she dropped the headless corpse.

“Your reward for obedience will be to follow him once more.”

I'm going to download that book I was working on from the cloud where I usually work on things to keep them safe. I might as well finish it before the waves hit.
    They will come quickly now.
I had to wait until I gathered enough knowledge to make sure I wasn't full of shit.
The quality will not be as high as my first one. I am no longer as possessed.
Before I was channeling gods for 5 years. This one will be mostly me.
Real books take time. Real books take formatting. Real books take months of editing moving a stupid picture around on a page for 6 hours straight until it finally stops fucking everything up.
I might self-publish a physical copy at some point but for now there is no more time.
Again, I had to wait until I knew what I was doing for sure.
Most of the information is here now piecemeal, but as I found before trying to dispense such weighty information on a micro blogging platform, or for that matter any blogging platform is less than ideal.

  20. Good morning. 🌳🌳🌳

    28 October 2024

Can you recall being in the first grade? I can't either, except I remember playing with clay, and drawing stick men, soldiers in battle complete with mountain fortresses. Needless to say, I should remember more because the first grade was two years of my life 😂. Oh, I recall Dick, Jane, and Spot, but that was probably from the second year. There were those big fat pencils, remember those? We had those lined paper pads with dotted lines between the rows and our job was to use the pencil and write between the lines. I struggled with the lines. To this day, my handwriting is atrocious. I wonder what grade we started cursive ... we called it long hand.
