I recently had to do a complete wipe and re-install of my #wpsd #hamradio #hotspot.
Most of the settings were retained by wpsd's backup/restore functions, but my #crontab had to be recreated from scratch.Luckily I had blogged some of it last year:

after running into "Repeater not found" inconsistently a few times on my #DMR HT, I got some advice on #PrideRadioGroup to look at testing for an offset on the MMDVM hat
thru the built in tester in #WPSD I found out, my offset is about -100 Hz
after setting that in WPSD, I seem to be hitting the hotspot more consistently now 🙂

I've had a fun day with ham radio today:
* change some settings on my ID-5100A for a few frequencies, #ID5100
* signed up for #NXDN
* configured my #WPSD hotspot to use #DMR 2 NXDN cross mode
* figured out #DroidStar on my #Android (to connect to NXDN)I'm still working on:
* reducing #RFI coming in to shack, that seems to only be interfering with my space heater lol (need more ferrite chokes, maybe)
* make a few more contacts on HF todayI'm glad I found a day to spend doing HamRadio stuffs

Today: #DMR hotspot is up!
I got a duplex one, so dad can take one time slot for his QSOs, and I can take the other. Antennas are resonant around 433, and I do believe 433/438 are generally within the hotspot range, so I'll add a random offset around there just to make sure I don't conflict with anyone nearby.
