Wandering Inn has book 18 in the published works of the series. Usually the Audible version is released at the same time. I hope they aren't releasing an Audible version right away isn't because they don't have the new book contracted for a narrator yet. Sad face. #WanderingInn

Ohlala Belavierr est vraiment la meilleure evil lady que j'ai vu en fiction depuis longtemps. C'est pas vraiment une antagoniste (?) à part dans le volume qui lui est dédié, mais dès qu'elle traine dans le fond elle est toujours aussi terrifiante.

Ce qui est rigolo avec #wanderinginn c'est que par fois les lecteurs spoilent accidentellement les autres tellement c'est compliqué de se souvenir où et quand certains évènements sont arrivés tellement il y a de contenu. C'est un effet de bord auquel je ne m'attendais pas :)

I broke a rule I usually try to follow (don't read the last available book in the series until at least another one comes out in case there's bad endings or bad cliffhangers) by reading #WanderingInn audio book 16 with Erin Bennet narrating it.
I'm still getting used to characters sounding different, I kinda feel like the difference between voices isn't as pronounced anymore, but I can definitely see the traces of the original voices in there as well.
Curious to hear how antinium, Relc, council, and Horns sound like.

A rough concept for King Itreimedes, the King of Bows. The idea is there but the execution leaves much to be desired. Maybe I can circle back to this and try again in the future.

Well shit. I knew this was gonna happen but ... dangit! #WanderingInn

So here's the thing. I'm a writer myself, and an editor, and I run a small bookshop focused on small press and self published titles. (The Scribbling Lion, if anyone is interested in that last.)

I'm fucking PICKY. I see a number of "problems" with this series on, as I said, a technical level. I'm ITCHING to offer my editing services. At a discount, even. But I won't.

Because it would be ARROGANT of me. And I love the point this series makes as it stands. The example it sets. We all, as writers, need to relax and get tf over ourselves. Focus on telling a ripping good story and realize that while technical perfection is ideal, the bar isn't quite as high as we believe. A great story, well told, allows wiggle room on points like "argh, no, use a comma at the end of that dialogue tag" and "no, that's not the right word, you used a homonym" and so on.

Would I stock it in my bookstore, if it came to print? No. Not as it stands. Not without an technical edit overhaul. But will I recommend reading it? Absolutely.

Read this series. Get back to me on your own thoughts. See if you get addicted too.

Une histoire incroyable, épique et pleine de bonnes choses que je lis et qui me fait vibrer depuis 2020 en webnovel. Si ce dernier format ne vous convient pas, peut-être préférerez-vous cette version webcomic !

Je ne peux pas vraiment exprimer avec des mots combien cette oeuvre m'a marqué. Elle m'a fait ressentir tout un tas d'émotion comme rarement une oeuvre y parvient avec moi. :)

Erin peut être très revancharde quand on s'en est pris à ceux qu'elle aime par le passé.

Et on termine par ce moment incroyable où l'auberge est assiegée de morts-vivants et autres monstres et Erin réfléchit à ce qu'elle peut faire alors que dehors, ses amis se battent pour la protéger.

Erin est une grande joueuse d'échecs. A tel point qu'elle est capable de jouer contre plusieurs joueurs sans même regarder le plateau, tout en servant nourriture et boisson à ses clients.
