Another 350 words written. Chapter 3 is making decent progress and I'm fairly certain I can finish it and the arc by the end of the week!

Wrote 1.5k words, finishing off the second chapter. Another chapter and the arc should be complete. Even did something with a minor character.
A few remarks on Tintero: I really like the feature where I can make character sheets. It helps me keep track of things fairly easily. However, I'm scared of managing a data sheet when I could be writing more. So there's a tradeoff.

Wrote 1k words in the second chapter, finally introduced a very important secondary character and outlined her in a fairly simple scene. Integrated some fun elements as well and already got a good feel for it.
I switched over to Tintero for my writing, immediately got rid of the AI trash. The writing experience is good, I like the editor and it lets me organize characters, even making it possible to add traits and important places. That's very, very handy and neat. Still doing a trial of it though.

My current planning:
Write the first arc of the webnovel, which will take about 3 chapters.
Rework the chapters as much as possible while preparing the next arc.
Publish chapter 1 and then the next chapters every two weeks.
During those 6 weeks I want to try and hammer out as much of the second arc as possible.

Smashed down 500 words, thus finishing off the first draft of the first chapter. Actually managed to write a funny scene with some character work interwoven and have a decent tension curve heading into chapter 2!

400 words written today, yesterday was 170 words. Makes for a total of 1.7K words for the first chapter. I always want to get to 2k - 3k words per chapter, so this is already a good length, considering there are two scenes left in this.
Oh, maybe I should reveal the title at some point?

Forgot to post about this but I wrote 200 words yesterday in my yuri webnovel. A shorter session to be sure, but I'm still finding my style there.

Any EDM Djs or festival organizers/techs/etc willing to help me research for my gay romance webnovel?
So I'm writing a scene soon in my gay romance webnovel "Fractured Heart" that's about a shy traumatized tsundere EDM DJ who falls in love with a rich and famous pop star where the DJ goes to visit his (more famous) friend while they're performing in a Tomorrowland - like EDM festival, and I wondered if anyone on here might possibly have experience with a big music festival, ideally a performing DJ themselves or someone involved in setup, etc, who I could ply with research questions about how that all works?
I do extensive web searching trying to research stuff for my book myself, but it's really hard to find behind-the-scenes stuff. Like, how early does the DJ show up for something as big as an EDM festival, and what sort of tech setup is there ahead of time? How much prep goes into your set? Is there a greenroom? Are you allowed to go visit other sets throughout the festival or do organizers tell you not to in case you start a mob?
An #EDM #DJ (or setup person) I could ask more general questions about smaller shows would also be greatly appreciated <3 I tried posting to the DJ subreddit asking if someone might be interested in answering research questions, but the mods immediately took my post down as "self advertising" even though I didn't link to anything or even name my webnovel so I gave up 😩
