#Wallabako has served me well all these years, but I took same path few months ago (moved to #Readeck)

Right. #Kobo updated to remove #Pocket support, hasn't added the #Instapaper login yet, and #Wallabag #Wallabako doesn't seem to be syncing either... Likely because of the removal of pocket support...

@[email protected] I had set up #Wallabag a while ago, which is easy to #selfhost with #YunoHost and I believe there are a bunch of public instances as well 🦘

I use #Pocket for syncing articles to my #Kobo, and while it's nothing near the nicely streamlined interface Kobo had going, there is #wallabako which lets me download Wallabag articles as ePub files for reading. I'm still hoping for an official replacement but I suppose something is better than nothing ⬇️

Wallabako is a #Wallabag client for #Kobo readers. Downloads unread articles as individual #EPUB files.

Features:

• fast: downloads only files that have changed, in parallel
• unattended: runs in the background, when the wifi is turned on, only
  requires you to tap the fake USB connection screen for the Kobo to
  rescan its database
• status synchronization: read books are marked as
  read in the Wallabag instance
• easy install: just drop the magic file in your kobo reader like any
  other book, edit one configuration file and you're done

Saving a lot of links during the day, reading them on the ereader in the evening, distraction free.
I just wish I had a "Save to Wallabag" instead of Pocket to add articles while reading.
