York made a few good offensive attempts, but are completely lacking in defense. If it weren't for their keeper playing superhero, it would have been 4 or 5 goals instead of 2.
As for Winnipeg, they improved significantly this half. It's a fairly balanced squad, which could help or hinder them depending on who they're up against.
Although Valour now sit top of the table, I think they'll be 4th or 5th based on today's performance.

While these two teams are fairly evenly matched, Winnipeg is the better side on the pitch.
That said, these two teams both seem a bit below all 6 squads that played yesterday. So I wouldn't be surprised if they hang out toward the bottom of the table this season.
Hopefully, they're just shaking out some match jitters, and we'll see a bit more in the second half.

Oh, and #TSSRovers will defeat #ValourFC at 10:30 pm in Swangard Stadium.
That should give the folks at York Lions Stadium plenty of time to get back home to stream it on OneSoccer & make April 19th a good triple-header.
