Meta launched their Twitter competitor, Threads.
Though, interestingly they did not really launched but actually pre-launched as it is not yet available to use, just to reserve access to the download, and only on iOS.
Side note: the privacy part is pure Meta...

To echo what others have noticed :
Most with a bit of #tech savvy are thriving on #Mastodon and carefully selecting servers. Many are willing to keep a #Twitter presence but, regardless if it's future, seem to be making a new #socialmedia home here as well.
#Creatives with cash flow seem to be trying everything ATM. 100% makes sense.
Less #techsavvy types are migrating to every #centralized #twitterclone they can to see "who wins" with no regard to the entities in charge of those platforms.
