Mrs Roach asked "How can she still look the same after 20 years?" to which I replied "she has aged well but she can't spell #aniversary"

This popped up in the Liberal Party affiliated NineFax this morning:
The Liberal Party’s candidate for Narre Warren North says Australia should not recognise First Nations people because “we won this land fair and square”Putting aside the revolting selfishness of this for just a moment, let's imagine that there is such a thing as 'winning land' and that ownership is 'fair and square' as a result.
That really does make my landlord's position interesting. I am forming the sentence up in my head:
"No, I am not going to pay rent, instead, I am going to kill/threaten/harm you and your children so that I will own the land fair and square." (Let's call this the Putin/Dragan argument.)But, of course, I cannot - because there was a point in history when this filthy behaviour transitioned from 'legal' to 'illegal'. The signing of the UN Charter is commonly accepted as the point, I think?
When we signed that Charter, we crystallised a huge debt.
We admitted that taking land by force was illegal. The people who owned this land were dispossessed. It was not fair, it was not square.If the Putin/Dragan argument is correct, then we are all in much deeper trouble than we thought possible. In preparation:
