    I use & voted for #Xfce but some other options could be those DEs purposely designed to "preserve" an older version of a #DesktopEnvironment or GUI toolkit. I suspect they would be extremely unlikely to introduce paradigm-shifting changes

    I may do some more tweaking in the future, but I am pretty happy with how things turned out on .

    So far it has been a pretty usable lil system. Web browsing is on par with old dial-up. Besides that, after an app opens they seem to be quite responsive/snappy.

    Now I am glad I my MangoPi Quad as I do not think I would have looked into the Trinity DE.

    I installed the and I have to say it gives so tight competition. At idle my ram use is lower than LXDE and when using native apps the ram use stays fairly low.

    As for look, Trinity just looks better has more customization options, AND has integration.

    I will post a screenshot once I am done tweaking things to my liking.
