  6. This week's #WildflowerHour challenge is #TreeFlowers. Trees can be tricky to distinguish wild from planted - people plant native species and non-natives spread themselves. So basically any sort of tree that isn't obviously a planted ornamental one is within the rules. Not that we're exactly strict in enforcing the rules to begin with.
    As usual, feel free of course to post other wild & escaped flowers that aren't part of the weekly challenge.

  7. This week’s challenge for #WildFlowerHour was #TreeFlowers
    The challenge seemed to be that most of them were too high up to take a decent photo with my phone… and for many it was too early. It’s still rather cold in the Netherlands: oak, sycamore and horse chestnut I could reach
