Two UK candidates for my #FavouritePlant of the #WildflowerHour year. Sea Milkwort at Church Norton in May because I'd never seen it before and while its small size makes it easy to miss it's really stunning when seen up close. No doubt about my #FavouritePlant from this summer - I'd had several near misses with Strawberry Clover in recent years, finding plants that were almost certainly this species but I couldn't prove it. In #Paris in August I found a nice large clump at the Parc Andre Citroen, showing not just the pink-tinged flowers but also lots of the very plain leaves and just one of the distinctive seed heads. #WildflowerHour #Bloomscrolling #botany #plants #flowers #wildflowers #photography

#ClimateDiary am a bit late for #WildFlowerHour but after reading #RobertMacFarlane’s comment on how much #Cowslip there was this year, and everyone else sharing their pictures, I spotted so much too - nice how these conversations alert you, and to be enjoying this all together. And masses of #Dandelions everywhere too. As someone else said: it seems to be a yellow year! Though a few #Bluebells too 😊
