Another lifer from this week, this one from #CanveyIsland in #Essex on Tuesday. If I'd got there slightly later I'd have missed this and, with the flowers closed, would have assumed it was Goatsbeard. But the purple flowers mean it's the non-native relative, Salsify. I was already planning to spend Saturday looking for Round-leaved Sundew in the #NewForest. So of course, given the challenge was #AquaticPlants, it wasn't in flower. This set of buds was as close as I got.
