Looking for a good organization to donate to? I can't recommend Point of Pride enough. They're delivering *free* gender affirming care to trans people who can't afford it, including body shapewear, hair removal, hormones, and even surgery. They're doing life-saving work, and they can always use more funds to help people.
Consider donating once or setting up a monthly donation of just a few dollars if you can. It's the cost of a cup of coffee every 30 days that goes toward helping one of the most vulnerable groups in our society.

I haven't posted about my GoFundMe to pay off trans healthcare bills in quite some time, but it never made it past 27%
I'm currently being threatened with collections by the hospital over the money I owe them because they have been unwilling to work with me on it

My friend is still in the hospital and due to health reasons will need to quit her job and hopefully find something less labor intensive. She has an MLIS and would love library work somewhere or remote.

Currently we are looking at July 7th for my surgery date, and have the 2nd scheduled for the pre-op date with my chosen surgeon. My current plan is to keep the GoFundMe open until at least August to help recoup any associated costs, so if you are interested in contributing and can't swing it yet, you've got some time!"

Hello all. My wife @FaalnFromABlueStar sprained her ankle a couple weeks back. Despite seeing a doctor and taking steps to do self-therapy as recommended by her doctor, her ankle has only gotten worse. With my disability preventing me from working and us already living paycheck to paycheck, we need your help. Any and all donations will go towards her physical therapy bills for her ankle. hiya, some might know that I recently came out like, FULLY came out, so...
I really want to change my legal name and gender! money is really tight right now (as it always is, but especially so because we're saving up to move) and unfortunately I will need some money to do it.I know I need at least 15€ for a new citizenship card and 30€(!!) for a new driver's license. I'm really afraid of knowing how much it'll cost to replace my bank cards... I couldn't find that info readily. :\

I just saw a request for aid pop up on my FB feed from my friend Nathen. He is ftm trans and apparently is in some kind of trouble where he is living in upstate NY.
Here's all I've got:
"Hi everyone. Recent events (you know the ones) have rendered my home very unsafe for me, and I need out ASAP. Please help me if you can."

He did get someone replying, a friend of his I don't know, saying that they had friends in Rochester and would it be good to get in touch with them? Nathen said yes, it would, so that contact has been made.
Nathen is a fellow actor; we worked together in about 2007, near DC. The two of us headlined that show. Pretty sure that was his first "pants" part - it was just before his transition, IIRC. He's also a musician and worked peripherally with a semi-famous folk combo. He dropped off FB in 2022, saying it improved his mental health a lot, which is cool...I hadn't heard anything about disability so I don't know what that's about.
I just gave a large amount of money to a local charity, so I'm not in the best position right now, but I'll see if I can get some funds in there. Right now, I'm just asking for a signal boost for my friend. I don't really know what's going on. I just hope he's okay.
