My brain has two modes:
1) "I will memorize every rule and follow them with near-malicious compliance until the end of tine."
2) If the rules keep changing AND are different ACCORDING TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE… Well, I'm just going to take a wild stab and go through the process as it logically makes sense to me and I'll fix whatever mistakes they want to yell at me about but I am NOT going to WASTE COGNITIVE ENERGY trying to REMEMBER which version of the "rules" we're following this day…
And guess which version my job has pushed me into? 🥲
I could be the best damn worker they ever had if there was actually any goddamn fucking consistency to ANY of it.

Hommage aux sitcoms des années 50 aux années 2000, la série Marvel mettait en scène des personnages prisonniers de la fiction créée par Wanda, et obligés de se soumettre aux codes désuets mais nostalgiques de ces vieilles séries ⤵️

Les interprétations de #TooManyCooks sont nombreuses, et au final peu importe le véritable sens du court-métrage, s’il en existe seulement un.

Plus qu’une bizarrerie virale comme une autre, #TooManyCooks se révèle une réflexion passionnante sur la nostalgie, avec ses dizaines de personnages prisonniers d’une série télévisée fictive qui semble n’avoir ni début ni fin.
Une nostalgie personnifiée par le tueur, symbolisant ce système de production qui broie et cannibalise les comédien·ne·s qui incarnent ces personnages et font vivre ces histoires tournant en boucle.

En examinant Ken DeLozier, un médecin se retrouve atteint par la même maladie, obligé de sourire à la caméra tandis que son nom apparaît...

Né de l’imagination dérangée de Casper Kelly, #TooManyCooks n’était pourtant pas destiné à devenir un tel phénomène.
Le court-métrage est diffusé pour la première fois sur la chaîne Adult Swim le 28 octobre 2014 à 4h du matin, pendant un segment de 15 min nommé “infomercials”, parodiant la télévision américaine : téléshopping, films d’entreprise, ou encore... sitcoms.

Watching a film on Amazon called New Year’s Eve and it is BEYOND TERRIBLE.
It’s been about 20 minutes and we’ve yet to see a character in two scenes.
It’s just new cliche people we don’t care about replacing more new cliche people we don’t care about, with some tired celebrity cameos.
Some big name actors in it: John Lithgow, Michelle Pfeiffer, John Bon Jovi, Sophie Vergara… should have spent a little less on them and a bit more on some decent writers.

This dream took place inside a house-like building.
Across the house there were several connected rooms that were small kitchen-like rooms.
And in each one there was someone cooking something and each of them had a small amount of ingredients.
There was a line of people waiting with some of their own ingredients waiting to cook their food.
Because there were currently too many cooks, including my mom and maybe some other family members.
And an older woman with light-color skin who was cooking offered to share some of her food with us.
I remember a Phillip ‘Phil’ Scott-like man or Phillip ‘Phil’ Scott from the YouTube channel TheAdviseShowTV being there.
And I remember him telling me that the current people cooking were racist.
I asked him why did he think that and I pointed out that the woman offered to share some of her food with us.
And he replied: “Did you notice that she did not offer to cook your ingredients?”.
I replied yes but that does not make her / them racist, he replied, but I can not remember what he said.
I woke up as we continued talking as he continued explaining his reasoning as I listened with an open-mind.
