The enemies of the Earp bros are little more than a bullish nuisance and gun fodder for stylized montages here. Wives are garnish, Wyatt wears plot armor and his extra-marital romance falls flat. There are valiant acting efforts by #KurtRussell and especially #ValKilmer as TB diseased #DocHolliday, who justifies all the killing as follows: "Bad guys want revenge for being born." Enough said.

The cemetery in Amlwch has a gravestone in the form of a lighthouse. It is for Thomas Cunningham, who had worked on a lighthouse in Shanghai, China, for 30 years, and retired to Anglesey. He was originally from Liverpool. It is very detailed, even with an iron ladder up the side to the doorway.

A lot of thought and meaning goes into the design of monuments like this. Urns symbolize death and serve as a vessel for the soul or earthly ashes. A draped urn signifies either the veil between heaven and earth/life and death, or the symbolic guarding of the urn’s contents. Carvings of ivy represent friendship, fidelity, and immortality, while willow branches show mourning. Flowers have different meanings based on their species. Roses are for love, beauty, and motherhood. Lilies, innocence and purity, marriage, and resurrection. Ferns stand for humility, solitude and sincerity.
