Happy to see that #AcrossTheSpiderverse and #BlueEyeSamurai cleaned up at the #Annie awards. Both extremely well deserved—two pieces of media that define the joy of being alive in the current age of technology and art.

If either of them hadn’t come out last year, I’m sure TMNT #MutantMayhem would have won a couple as well. It was great.

I haven’t had a chance to see The Boy and The Heron or Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur yet, but definitely want to soon.

#AcrossTheSpiderVerse is an amazing animated movie. Everybody who is interested in #Animation should watch it. Not only is it just beautiful but it also shows that not every animation needs to be realistic. You can just use mood lighting in a scene and it supports the story.
The story itself is ok but I honestly didn't notice that at all while watching it. This is the best thing that #Marvel (actually more like sony) has done since ages and doesn't compare to #MultiverseOfMadness or #Quantumania at all.

Je n’étais pas très emballé par la BA.
Et le film me laisse sur la même impression.

L’introduction à ce monde et aux 4 éléments est très réussie. L’animation est réussie (mais est très conventionnelle, comparée à un #AcrossTheSpiderverse).
Les scènes entre les deux principaux protagonistes sont plutôt bonnes, et donnent de l’élan au film qui en manque un peu parfois.

L’humeur tombe parfois juste, mais c’est loin d’être du 100%.

Apparently there's now two official versions of #SpiderMan: #AcrossTheSpiderverse and the work it took to discover that is impressive, except that it probably required a bootleg disc to allow for multiple, low-speed rewatches, right?

Anyway, I didn't make it back last week, but just bought the first ticket for later today's (Tuesday) discount show on the #RPX screen, again.

Catching up on the #SpiderVerse #comics so I could get to know the other spider-people (mostly #SpiderPunk & #PavitrPrabhakar) and the whole shebang is .. something. Spider peeps from all dimensions are hunted by these vampire-like beings who look like they stepped right out of Interview with the Vampire. It’s all weird and disjointed, an obvious large crossover event meant more for sales than anything else. I’m prolly going to end up skipping ahead to find the spider peeps I’m curious about.
