Spent yesterday at Boroondara Cemetery in Kew, Victoria. One of the nicest garden cemeteries I've come across in Australia. The volunteers there do an enormous job keeping it all from being swallowed up by the greenery.

I'm putting this out for any Jews who feel like they don't want to criticize another denomination.
This is bullshit. There is no religious reason to bar suicides from our cemeteries. Not facilitating funerals is your choice, of course, but it's cruel to the living. What's next? Shrimp and tattoos? Meh.

Today's #PhotoOfTheDay pays a visit to a cemetery but not just any cemetery, today we visit Cementerio de la Recoleta in Buenos Aires. Famous as the resting place for Eva Perón but full of interesting tombs and fascinating stories. One of which is the tomb of Liliana Crociati de Szaszak, who died in an avalanche in Austria in 1970. In front of her tomb is a statue of her and her dog, Sabú. Maybe rubbing Sabú's nose is good luck.
