Going to be GMing round 2 of #TheWarren tonight woop.
It makes for a great game to fit in between main d&d sessions.

28, scariest #ttrpg I have played?
As strange as it may sound, #TheWarren from @bullypulpit_hq and @mease19 is the scariest game I have run/played. During our initial session I polled the table for details about their warren, my youngest daughter offered up a sickly fox with a wasting disease that was voraciously hungry who constantly stalked the edges of the their Warren. She named it Creeper.

12, the oldest game that I still play?
I don't really play old games anymore. I took a long hiatus from #RPGs after being steeped in them in middle & high school years. I picked up #Hackmaster Basic just to read at the 2009 or 2010 #GenCon where it came out.
Later I read #DungeonWorld & #Inspectres, & started running #TheWarren for my kids.
The closest I come to old games are new editions of them like #DnD5e or #CyberpunkRed or games inspired by them like #Cairn.

Going to running #TheWarren for the first time today. The group normally plays d&d5e so this will be a little different for us.

Smartest #ttrpg I have played?
I have played a bunch of smart #RPGs, but three of my favorites are:
@mease19's #TheWarren distilled #PBtA down to just what was needed to tell the very specific terrifying story of wild rabbits trying to survive in the wild.
@Epidiah's #Dread is unbeaten in telling a tense story. Using a Jenga tower as the tension/resolution mechanic is genius.
@jmstar's #GhostCourt is a comedy game that actually works as a comedy & is funny. It's brilliant.

“All the world will be your enemy, Prince of a Thousand Enemies. And when they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you; digger, listener, runner, Prince with the swift warning. Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed.”

@ChaskaTheMagicDog I don't know about scaring them necessarily, but #Vaesen has definitely given my players creepy vibes.
While it wouldn't seem that way, #TheWarren by @mease19 (the game about playing rabbits), has really scared my players while playing. The characters are so vulnerable to the world that survival is difficult and terror is around each corner.
