Looking for the #Wisdom of the Masses

Let's say hypothetically I have a Pentium 4 Box with PCIe but no way to plug a GPU in (power, PCIe slot is fine) and I want to turn it into a Streaming Thin Client (Steam, GFN, Moonlight, etc) for 4k120Hz under Linux or Windows

What GPU should I get?

Very insightful and something that really turned me off from the game. I used to be a Raid Main Tank and loved tanking when the game was new-ish. But the greater expectations of perfection and optimization even in random dungeons has fully killed my interest in it.

Very relatable.

After forty years or more of demonstrating that "Trickle-Down" economics do not work for the entire economy, maybe we should try a new four decade experiment of "Rising Tide" economics.

Down with "If you build it, they will come (and stare at it mournfully for they cannot afford it)." Bring on "If they come, build it at a price they can afford"!

I agree that Eldar, Knights, etc., are broken in tournaments, but if you’re NOT a tournament player and you KNOW your opponent will field the Eldar “meta” army, there is no reason you’ll lose.
Theorycraft. Change your army. Don’t play into their meta, play against or around it.
Everyone just throws their arms up instead of reworking their lists and tactics.
Your normal club games are not tournaments. Have fun, change things.

Wenn ich das viel größer denke (inkl. Windkraft), stellt sich die Frage, ob man so nicht auch die Dunkelflaute (die ja dann gar keine mehr ist) überbrücken kann:

Massive PV-Installation weit über den Bedarf hinaus.

Nebeneffekt:
An Tagen mit normaler oder hoher Sonneneinstrahlung haben wir so viel Strom übrig, dass wir den Überschuss problemlos in H2 umwandeln und für Stahlindustrie & Co. nutzen können.

Q: Wie weit muss der Preis für PV-Module fallen, dass sich das lohnt?

Selbst wenn ich ganz konservativ rangehe und mit lediglich 10 % (bei 50 kWp) durchschnittlicher Effizienz an schlechten Tagen und nur 6 Stunden Helligkeit rechne, sind das noch immer 30 kWh Ertrag.

Klingt fast schon zu gut, um wahr zu sein, denn das würde bedeuten, dass rechnerisch 100 % Autarkie drin wären.

(Ich erwarte, dass ich rechnerisch 32 kWh/d benötige.)

Inzwischen bekomme ich als Endkunde bifaziale 420 Wp-Module für rund 200 € das Stück.

Ich muss irgendwann mal durchrechnen, wie weit der Preis noch fallen muss, dass sich der Kauf sogar für indirektes Licht rechnen könnte.

Theoretisch kann ich auf dem Dach nochmal ~2520 Wp nach SSO und ca. 12-14 kWp nach NNW installieren.

Und die Fassade gibt es ja auch noch.

Insgesamt müssten auf die Weise >>50 kWp möglich sein.
