Finally started watching the Thelma Todd-Patsy Kelly shorts on a DVD set I’ve had for a couple years. I should not have waited so long. Patsy Kelly is a hoot no matter what she is doing, and Todd is an excellent partner for her.

I often forget that 17-year-old Ida Lupino was entrained in the publicity storm following Thelma Todd’s tragic demise—since she and her father had thrown the party at which Todd was last seen alive.
