A game I didn’t think would get me was The Beginners Guide (don’t worry. I won’t spoil it). I had no idea I was forming a parasocial relationship to the narrator and the person who “made the games” as I played. I only realized it when the twist came. It was so beautiful that I cried big ol’ tears. I want to revisit it, but I know that I’ll never again experience the shock from the twist that cut me so deeply. #TheBeginnersGuide #BeginnersGuide
