I'm curious if anyone else feels the same way - my issue with #MonkeyIsland2 is that the graphics are too busy, and combined with the resolution limitations of the time, everything ends up looking pretty muddled. The classic #MacOS version alleviates this somewhat with the graphic smoothing filter; it's just a shame that the sound in that version isn't the best.

Ho appena scoperto che su ebay gli #Amiga1200 vengono venduti a 800€ boxati e #MonkeyIsland2 big box sui 200€, ci sarebbe un bel tesoretto ma preferisco donarli all’associazione retrogaming dei miei amici. Così ogni tanto passerò a rivederli quando esporranno in fiera a PN (e magari ci scappa qualche partitozza con i gemelli)

Enjoying the especially cozy Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley on Switch. When did coziness as a game mechanic evolve? Sure, I loved just hanging out in #MonkeyIsland2 in the early 90’s (while trying to figure out what to do with Jojo) but when #ReturnToMonkeyIsland came in 2022, the game itself knew that it should push those buttons. What technical or cultural stepping stones led to this?
