I'm impressed at how much of an improvement Tales of Destiny DC is over Tales of Rebirth. The combat and exploration are both vastly improved. It's a shame the Tales of Destiny 2 translation project seems to have been abandoned; I would have liked to experience the two together.

Finished with Tales of Rebirth. Glad I was finally able to experience it, but I have no desire to ever play it again. The random encounter rate and awful AI just kills it, and the combat only gets decent at the end of the game after doing the terrible side quests and minigames and tons of grinding. I'm not going to bother with the bonus dungeon, since it requires playing through the game a second time to complete.

I'm glad they made discoveries better in Graces and Zestiria, because there ain't no fucking way anyone could ever possibly find more than like 4 of them in Rebirth without a guide.

I can see why Namco skipped Tales of Rebirth for a western release. Sure, it sucks we missed out on the context of these characters in subsequent cameos, but I'm really struggling to enjoy it.

So far, I think Legendia is a better 2D Tales game, and of course Abyss is one of the best JRPGs on PS2.

Tales of Graces originally released on this day in 2009 for the Nintendo Wii as a Japanese exclusive. An enhanced version released on PS3 in 2010, and a remaster is available on current systems.

It's one of my favorite Tales of games with a great cast of characters, plenty of humor, and one of the best battle systems in the franchise.

Tales of Xillia 2 initially released on this day in 2012 for the PlayStation 3 in Japan. It took nearly 2 years to get localized, but it's one of my favorites in the series with a great cast of characters and fun combat.

Para la sorpresa de nadie (lo leakearon días antes ellos mismos). Se anuncia que el próximo remake de #talesof es el de Tales of Xillia, que saldrá el 31 de octubre para steam y consolas.

El público japonés ha sido el primero en mostrar rechazo a este anuncio, ya que en su momento sacaran para PS3 una edición con Tales of Xillia 2.

¿Cuándo harán remake de su continuación viendo el caótico calendario de remakes que también ha olvidado un título tan emblemático como el Tales of the Abyss? Tampoco hay noticias de un remake del Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, que saliera en Wii.

Y que decir que no se sabe nada de una nueva entrega de esta saga, cuyo último título fue el Tales of the Arise en 2021.
