If you’ve been following my work, you’ll know that I LOVE to take pictures of open doorways or windows. Early in my photography journey a close friend and I would send each other these shots back on MySpace. We called them ‘portals’ and would invite the other to imagine where they would lead. I’ve always enjoyed finding these portals where I can. Let me know what you think? Where would these portals take you?

Part one of exploring Angkor Wat, starting with Ta Prohm. Or as every guide let us know: 'Tomb Raider'. Because it was in the first Tomb Raider movie. I did not know this but I did enjoy exploring this area in Angkor Wat.

I had heard of Angkor Wat in passing and had listened to 'The Fall of Civilizations' podcast about it (and again while exploring cause why not?). But the vastness of this place blew me away.
