I got curious about #StarWarsGalaxies again as I never really had a chance to play this, and was wondering if any of the community led incarnations still supported #WindowsXP. Sadly #SWGLegends does not, nor does #SWGR. I am cautiously optimistic that #SWGEmu might actually work. At least the launcher installed and boots up. Right now I'm waiting for it to finish downloading a metric ton of files before I can see if the game itself wants to boot. Fingers crossed?

Star Wars Galaxies, the old SoE/LucasArts game that went live in 2004 and still the best MMORPG ever created.There are various free servers running with original and additional (new) content.
I run development on one of those servers, one where our focus is community and non-toxicity.
Life Day is one of the annual events we run. We've just finished our annual Galactic Moon Festival event.
