Playing Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury

I completed the levels by collecting 3 Green Stars for each level — 342 in total, 76 stamps, and grabbed every Golden Flag Pole to unlock World Crown!

Both make me wish we had less lava themed Bowser’s Castle areas though! The music and atmosphere is always amazing when they step away from that archetype.

Super Mario 3D World with limited lives per character and game over = permadeath requiring a character switch. (This came to me in a dream).

Watching #Storster's Super Mario World 96-Exit #speedrun history video the other day made me wonder if I should try speedrunning Super Mario Bros. Wonder when it comes out. Would need more storage space, though. I do wonder which character will be the most optimal, probably Toad for speed if going off 3D World rules, otherwise Luigi for being slightly faster than Mario.

Peach is also playable from the beginning of #SuperMario3DWorld. Apparently the decision was made to not have her playable in #NewSuperMarioBros because her dress would have been too hard to animate (but, you know, they could do it on the NES…), but I guess better late than never.

Looool I know I'm a bit behind the times, but I love that the final boss in #SuperMario3DWorld is basically "fight against the shit camera".
