  1. To make a seed snail:

    1. Cut footlong lengths of supportive plastic sheeting - I like to use bubble wrap - approx 4-5" wide

    2. Pack a half-inch layer of seed starting mix along the length of the plastic. Imagine that you're preparing a sushi roll or a jelly log. Firm the soil along the 2 long ends of the plastic - these will be the top and bottom of your seed snail.

    3. Gently roll up from one end to the other, securing the final roll with tape.
