As #inflation eases, Which reports that #shrinkflation (products getting smaller while remaining the same price), and #skimpflation (ingredients being substituted for cheaper alternatives) continues.... its almost like #corporations have used the price turmoil to increase their profits by less visible means.

Bought some discount #Halloween #candy (as you do) and the mixed bag contained some Hershey's Cookies 'n Creme bars. Can't remember when I last had one of those (I liked them in high school, 20+ years ago), but UGH #skimpflation has hit them hard; they're disgusting! Definitely dumping the rest of them off in the communal candy bowl at work.
