  1. @thegiddystitcher

I just saw a contest "knit a garment in 30 days challenge" and sure it it is in aran weight, but hello... it's so not #SizeInclusive to organise things like that...

  3. i absolutely thought i saw a post on here about a knitting pattern that i also got emailed about because it's one of the only knitwear designers i love the patterns from AND want to unequivocally support

but i cannot find a post so i think my wires are crossed

so can i just take a moment to shout out Victoria Marchant's size inclusive designs! Body size and sleeve size on sweaters can be chosen separately so you can make your sweater your way; all her patterns ALSO have a screen reader accessible version that is automatically bundled with the purchase. i have size C wrists but size H biceps for the pattern I am going to knit and i can finally have Autism Sleeves by following the sleeve recommendations for which size to start in and doing a little extra tapering when i want it!!

  4. #ThrowbackThursday to 2017, when I knit this top for myself based on a challenge and was encouraged by my fibre arts community to publish a #knitting pattern for it. My first garment pattern, #SizeInclusive and tested in all sizes.

I have yet to find the energy and courage to publish another sweater patterns, but I have ideas brewing in my head.

    Link is in my bio

  5. @DesertBloom I love that all her patterns are #sizeinclusive, and disability friendly to read.

  6. Found a 1988 #knitting magazine for 1 euro in a thrift store. So interesting to see those styles... hahaha. But, perhaps I'll be able to knit one of the patterns, the children sweaters look quite nice. There are also many miniskirts and minidresses but I don't think they are #SizeInclusive / in my size...

  7. #FiberArtCamp I spent #WIPWednesday casting on a #MetropolisSweater, which is a free, #SizeInclusive pattern on Ravelry by Tanis Lavallee (ravelry.com/patterns/library/m), using this incredible, colorful tweedy yarn by Schulana from Knit Knit Berlin. I’m hoping that the simple #knitting pattern will really allow this classic yet fun yarn to shine.

I got to start on this project yesterday because I finally purchased my first set of #InterchangeableNeedles! I got the ergonomic addiClick Novel Lace long since they were the only metal Addi set I could find in Berlin.
