  1. McLusky do make the best swag.

The show was amazing too. They’ve still got it 🤘

  2. Next for #TuneTuesday on the #SingIt theme we have LCD Soundsystem. This is called Someone Great, this version is live from Austin City Limits: youtu.be/sZDKP5pnhhM?si=GXiH4e

  3. This week's #TuneTuesday is #SingIt songs with impactful lyrics. Mine are all variations in a theme. We will start with Glen Phillips (of Toad the Wet Sprocket fame) and his song Grief and Praise. His description: "Martin Prechtel describes grief and praise as being the mirrored aspects of love in the face of inevitable loss: Praise is grieving what we love and will lose, grief is praising what we love and have lost."

  4. Oh, just in time for this week's theme for #TuneTuesday by @Kitty !
    #SingIt

The song with lyrics that have always had a special meaning to me is The Set-Up by Rupert Hine.
(„They couldn’t think of a number, so they gave me a name.“)
The whole song describes a lot of my childhood.

  5. Today’s #TuneTuesday theme is #SingIt a song whose lyrics have special meaning to you. From @Kitty and @pgs

This is a melancholy, even depressing, but very powerful song that put a bad time in my life in perspective.

  6. Yay new Tune Tuesday prompt!

There's so many songs whose lyrics hit me hard, but one notable one recently is Allison Russell's Joyful Motherfuckers (nsfw obs). This entire album is top tier but this song especially is so heartfelt and lovely. I don't even know what she's saying in the French part but it's still beautiful and touching and hopeful and sad.

  7. This week's theme for Tune Tuesday by @Kitty is Sing It from @pgs

Song with lyrics that have a special meaning is LADIES' CODE "I'm Fine Thank You".

Almost 10 years ago, the 5 member group was in a car accident in which RiSe and EunB lost their lives.

Fans pushed this song to the number one spot to make EunB's wish of being #1 come true.

I sing poorly to the Korean parts and belt out the English, and cry almost every time.

  8. When we heard there was a #TuneTuesday train we had to hop on board!

Today's theme is #SingIt and to share a song whose lyrics mean a lot to you. Not easy to narrow down, but we'll try!

Vienna Teng's "Level Up" is a great anthem about embracing humanity and helping each other in the face of what's often an overwhelming world.

So, what's your anthem, the song you feel down to your bones? We'd love to know and sing along!

  9. This week's #TuneTuesday theme is #SingIt - songs with lyrics that are meaningful to you. I usually go political for this sort of thing, but, for whatever reason, a more personal song sprang to mind. This one evokes long-lost friends and the search for belonging by one of the better bands my corner of the world has yet to produce.

  10. This week's Tune Tuesday from @Kitty has a theme of "Sing It" from @pgs - songs whose lyrics have a special meaning to you.

For me that's going to be Coheed and Cambra's "Wake Up," the acoustic version first heard on the Snakes on a Plane soundtrack. Yes, seriously. songwhip.com/coheed-and-cambri

While not `00% lining up with my life, I sang this version as a lullaby to my children when they were infants changing the lyrics slightly to account for when I had to travel for work or leave my kids knowing, saying I would always return to them.

    The theme from @pgs
#SingIt a song with lyrics that are meaningful to you.

Quicksand, "Supergenius" is a song that could be interpreted more broadly but I'm a concrete guy and I interpret as a call to stand up against police brutality, specifically a call to white people to risk something to stand up for others.

  12. #SingIt - A song whith lyrics that mean something to you.

This is the theme by @pgs that @Kitty pulled out of the magic tin can for #TuneTuesday

One line immediately came to my mind:

"Why is He silent, is He blind?"

I sometimes find myself to brood over something happened to me, or things I've done or ideas, taking some time to write thoughts down.

There is a song I really love, that invites people to reflect on themselves. I find it quite appropriate.
