I'm currently filling in for a colleague and suggested I take a look at open source on site. I showed #fdroid , #deltachat / #ArcaneChat , #simpmusic & of course #mastodon or #bluesky. People were really excited. You just have to show people the alternatives.

Ormai a tuttə piace ascoltare musica, anche in macchina, ma trovare delle valide alternative a #spotify, sia per motivi economici che etici, non è sempre semplice.
Tempo fa avevo segnalato #simpmusic un'applicazione presente anche su #fdroid che uso da diversi mesi, ma da ieri ho iniziato ad usare anche #vivimusic che mi sembra altrettanto valida e con licenza #gpl3 .
Il problema è che quasi sempre non si integrano su #androidauto per cui bisogna utilizzarle da telefono perché l'icona non compare sul #carplay.
Sulla pagina #github di Vivi-Music c'è anche una piccola guida per abilitare le app di fonti sconosciute su android auto e guidare in sicurezza.

A tela inicial e o visual do player dos aplicativos que uso para ouvir músicas do YouTube Music, acho a interface deles melhor que a do YouTube Music e ambos estão disponíveis pelo F-Droid.

All of the Youtube Music clients I could find on F-Droid are b0rken now. Thanks GOOG.

I mean, yeah, it's technically stealing, but considering what you pay your artists, it's just stealing what was already stolen.
