Hey, we're coming back to Berkeley this Thursday. Same time 4-6pm at Urban Farm Oasis on Ashby in Berkeley.
Order plants online on our site and pick them up and pay for them on Thursday. https://www.planthumboldt.com/delivery
So far, I think everyone who has picked up plants from us there has heard about it from Instagram (🤮) or from our mailing list. Say hi if you heard about us here.

We're restarting our Bay Area home grower deliveries this coming week. You can order plants on our website and meet us at our drop off location in Berkeley to pay for them and pick them up.
The cool folks at Urban Farm Oasis on Ashby in Berkeley are letting us use their parking lot as the pickup location. If you don't know about them, they're a great local gardening business to support.
For info or to place an order go to our site https://www.planthumboldt.com/delivery

Hi all, it's that time of year, especially if you're growing your own plants from seed. The earlier you can get rid of male plants, or isolate them if you're going to do some seed production or breeding experiments, the better.
I'll put a little more info about sexing cannabis in the next couple comments. Feel free to ask about any of it!

Hey everyone, sorry for being so quiet. But, hey, our opening day for 2026 is this Friday, May 1st!
We'll be open 9-5 Tuesday-Sunday, closed Mondays.
Pics are from today! The plants are looking great, but most of them are not yet big enough to definitively show their sex. They're (almost) all grown from feminized seeds, so will be 99+% female. If you want to get an early start or want to be sure a particular variety doesn't sell out, we've got lots of plants. If you're not in a hurry or aren't picky about flavors, give them a week or so.
You can always call us for more info 707-923-5063

Do you grow #cannabis from seed? Wondering how to tell male plants from female plants early? These two photos show you what we look for in the nursery. For us, since we guarantee plants are female, it's important to be able to sex them as early as possible. (Identifying a plant's or animal's sex is known as "sexing" them.)
We use a jeweler's visor in order to keep our hands free, but a magnifying glass or good eyesight works fine. Look for the little preflowers 3-5 nodes down from the top.

End of season closing sale is still on, but we hope to be sold out and closed this week, so don't delay if you were considering a trip to the nursery.
All plants are $20 or $30 each, including all taxes, to personal use growers.
We also have killer deals for licensed farms. Contact us directly at our email [email protected]

Late season blowout sale! All plants 50% off till they're gone. The crew decided it makes more sense to sell off the remaining plants at a big discount while there's still time for them to produce a nice harvest.
We're hoping to be done by next Monday, July 22nd, so don't delay.
We have even bigger discounts for licensed farms. Contact us directly via email [email protected]
We're open 9 to 6 every day until we close. Because plants can sell out quickly, we recommend calling us before driving very far if there's something specific you are looking for 707-923-5063

It's that time of year! We don't sell plants until we can definitively identify them as female, distinguished by the little white "hairs" (called "stigma") protruding from the green pod-like "bract" (what most people call a "calyx").
Once a plant declares its sex this way, we can sell it. Once we identify males, they go into the compost. (Though we do occasionally save a few for people who want to juice the leaves or dabble in breeding.)
We guarantee our plants are female, but it's critically important that anyone growing cannabis understand that ANY cannabis plant, whether from clone or seed, can produce male flowers at any time in its life cycle. This happens due to stress, genetics and possibly other factors. So check your plants regularly throughout the season or you could end up with a seeded crop.

Our plants love the rain and the wind and the heat and the cold. We grow them outdoors so they're tough and acclimated and ready to go right into your garden. We've got thousands ready right now and we're open every day 9-6.

The crew says these plants are ready for 4/20, so we made a last minute decision to open this weekend.
We have limited numbers and limited varieties, since it's so early. But if you are after any of these, it's a good opportunity to get an early start: Vanilla Frosting, Garlic Budder, Poddy Mouth, Jelly Donutz, Granny Candy, Golden Sands and Don Carlos.
We'll be open 9-6 every day through July. More info on our website https://planthumboldt.com

@plants #florespondence #SixOnSaturday the weather seems to be heading in a warmer, somewhat drier direction- the moisture has been good for recharging wetlands etc, and we have the mosquitoes to show for it 😆#CanGarden🇨🇦 #NAmericanGardeners #Alberta #July #seedgrown
