I got my kid one of these a few years ago before the pandemic ...she since then graduated to a Lenovo laptop.
It's an HP Stream 11 notebook with 2gb memory and 32 gb storage.
Rather than trashing it ,I repurposed it to run my SDRPlay RSP1A sdr radio.It has just enough memory to run it as a stand alone controller. So now I can use the SDRPlay software and scan the air band and the military air band as well as the usual culprits on 2m . It won't scan in Linux 😕

First bug report filed to the them. Let's give them the chance to make their software better. Note to myself: Next time check for Linux -open source- supported devices.
