What is the band plan for FT4 on 6 meters?

Here in Michigan I am decoding and hearing stations in Florida on FT4 on 50.240 (and up from that to 50.242+). I'm using an AirSPY HF+, YouLoop antenna, OpenWebRX+, Pi 400.

My first time copying FT4 on any band, audio sounds like FT8 except twice the rate.

Stations heard include #KM4CRZ (Ocala FL) coming in very strong.

@gafu @chris I'm testing 7 #TBeamsupreme units running #microReticulum altered to represent a topology of nodes that are out-range to some in order to force LINK transport across 5 others. I finally ran #openwebrx while conducting these tests so I could see what transmissions were happening when, and that was a real eye opener. I fixed two kinds of flooding (resulting my my artificial constraints) because I had the visualization of what was dominating the air waves.

Debugging #microReticulum LINK/transport behavior over LoRa is hard when the “wire” is invisible.

I’m testing BOB, CY & DAN, with DAN acting as the middle node between two units that cannot hear each other directly. To look for possible RF collisions, I modified #OpenWebRX.

It is fuzzy, but it turns millisecond logs and invisible transmissions into something I can actually see.

Только что узнал, что у OpenWebRX есть /metrics для того, чтобы prometheus и подобными снимать метрики. Пошёл рисовать дашборды. :)

Listening to #groovesalad on #somafm and tuned an #openwebrx to #noaa weather radio at the same time and this kinda slaps.

More people would listen to NOAA weather radio if it had some chill groove music in the background.

Hätte ich mal früher auf Docker Hub geschaut, dass man die Plugins in den Container einbauen kann. Hab mir einen eigenen Docker Container gebaut, was total unnötig war.

My AirSPY HF+ installation is working again under OpenWebRX+ v1.2.61 after I followed the instructions at https://groups.io/g/openwebrx/topic/103545886 to change /etc/udev/rules.d/52-airspyhf.rules

The upstream issue is https://github.com/airspy/airspyhf/issues/46 and open for quite a long time, udev rules appear to be hard to get right portably.

#Kismet conflicts with the #OpenWebRx. It locks all the usb devices, so the sdr wont start. No relevant records in lsof, neither any luck with chmod/chown/group setting.

I could have understood if it were regarding rtl_sdr, both programs can use it. But rsp1a is nowhere in kismet.

What can I do? RUN kismet in docker and restrict it from rsp1a by id? Unlikely that kismet config can exclude the device, that is not actually supported. How can I do it 🥲

Yesterday I've learned that #OpenWebRx has the built in Prometheus compatible `/metrics` endpoint.
