Moved my Home Assistant installation finally from a Raspberry Pi 4B to a small Intel box (J5005 CPU), since 32 bit ARM is not supported anymore. The main parts were already entirely using Docker, and after also moving other host-side remnants (SSH keys) or replacing them with HA-confined alternatives (the wallbox integration now has web API support instead of MQTT), it was pretty smooth. #homeassistant #hass #64bit

Grazie ai compilatori ultra-ottimizzati, programmare in assembly sui computer attuali non ha molto senso, però la sfida è interessante. Ma come si presenta l'Assembly x86-64 a un programmatore dilettante rimasto fermo ai 486 degli anni '90? Armato di buona volontà, ho messo al lavoro la FPU (Floating Point Unit) del mio PC solo per scoprire che è ormai obsoleta.
