You know, the inciting event that led to me having to flee the United States was a guy threatening me with a gun, raving on about his conspiracy theories about me being a "con man" and how I'd be a "better person if [I] grew [my] dick back".
It's this delusional, transmisogynistic rhetoric that causes women to get hurt. Both trans and cis, because when you enable crazy people to falsely accuse trans women of being "men", you put cis women at risk too. It's rhetoric like this that causes crazy assholes to point guns in the faces of innocent women that just want to live their lives in peace.
Trans women are women, period.
