We left the georgeous island #samothraki to move on. After only 1 day of #cycling some km half around the island without luggage it felt so hard to pedal again with the fully loaded bikes 🙈
While waiting to bark on the #ferry we enjoyed the mandatory #coffee from our #bialetti with an amazing view onto the #mountain Fengari (1611m). #greece -

The 'Sanctuary of the Great Gods' is an ancient site located on #samothraki in #greece. It was a renowned center for mystery cults and was dedicated to the worship of the great gods, a group of deities with #mysterious identities. The sanctuary complex featured various temples, ritual spaces, and a sacred altar. It attracted pilgrims from all over the ancient world who sought initiation and #spiritual purification.
We spent a mesmerizing two hours wandering through this captivating location. -
... The ferry brought us to the island of #Samothraki 😍
We found an easy studio, had a shower and stayed inside for the following 36hours 😇 relaxing our legs 😎
Outside it was crazy super windy and rainy, really no reason to go outside 😅
What a lucky coincidence that we are not exposed to the storm either in our tent or on the bike right now!
First task after the storm was over: cleaning our bikes and stuff, washing our clothes and discovering our surrounding 🤩
