Alright, it's gonna happen. Ben and I are heading to the mountains again. We'll start in Geneva and then head south, collecting cols. No camping, hopefully good weather in early September. But we're flexible and will adjust our route depending on conditions (of the weather and our legs). The screenshot shows the most ambitious version, with classic Tour de France climbs like the Alpe d'Huez and the Col des Aravis. But we also have slightly less nutty routes planned.

Bike-packing community, hear me out: Frame bags are a terrible waste of space when you want to also carry a water bottle(s). From the perspective of geometry their position makes no sense. What if we'd just install the water bottle cages directly under the top frame and have the rest as carrying capacity?
