After killing the child tax credit, this miserable SOB is going after new rules that allow employee unions to be recognized immediately when the company breaks the law and fires them or punishes them, like Starbucks has done repeatedly. Fellow party traitor Sinema may join him. If you live in Arizona or West Virginia, contact their office via https://ceasefiretoday.com/ and bring this up too.

Coming from the guy that refused to take over PG&E after they burned down half the state, this isn't surprising, but a sign he isn't presidential material; labor will remember this veto.

SAG-AFTRA news: “SAG-AFTRA National Board Unanimously Agrees To Send [Strike] Authorization Vote To Members”
“…An affirmative vote does not mean a strike would necessarily happen, but it would allow the National Board to call one if deemed necessary during the negotiations process.”

Here Justine Bateman’s thread lays out a case for why AI in entertainment must be addressed now, protections created or writers, actors and directors may not have a profession or career at all very soon. Writers Guild (WGA), SAG-AFTRA and the Directors Guild of America (DGA) are fighting for our professions to exist at all.

Had a great day walking the picket line in solidarity with my WGA friends. Without our writers, we literally are speechless. The shows you love would not exist. They deserve to be fairly paid. ✊🏼 #wgastrong #sagaftrasolidarity

Without writers, there are no stories to tell, & without stories, there are no viewers. AMPTP needs to make a fair deal w/@WGAWest & Writers Guild of America, East before it's too late. Producers know they’ll make a deal, just do it now.
