The Revenge of Shinobi is one of those games with a very amusing history. The original release took many "inspirations" from multiple sources of pop culture and media, with 5 of them having the possibility of landing Sega in court for copyright infringements.
The poster for Kage no Gundan was copied detail for detail, they had Rambo, Spider-Man, Batman, and Godzilla in there. Over the course of 4 revisions the game lost it all.
