1973's Beyond Atlantis by director Eddie Romero is technically a family film. No, for real, Patrick Wayne (John Wayne's son) insisted this film be a family film. It's one of the very few movies out of the Philippines in that era that was family-friendly - which is a direct quote from David DeCoteau, someone who knows both sleaze and family movies.

One of the most popular Bruceploitation movies to come out in the wake of Bruce Lee's shocking early death was 1980's The Clones of Bruce Lee. I've said in the past I'm not a fan of the genre as I kind of feel like it's insensitive. I'm not sure this movie changed my opinion on the matter.

If Batman and Robin is the infamous superhero movie sequel of the 90s, then I suppose Spider-Man 3 fits the bill in the 2000s, but I kind of think it's unfairly maligned. Not as good as its predecessors, but I think can still be a fun watch at times.
