I finished the audiobook The Stationary Shop by Marjan Kamali. I enjoyed listening to it and learned a bit about Iranian culture and the 1953 Iranian coup d’état.
In my #ReadAroundTheWorld project, this is the book for #Iran .

I don't mind dogeared books, they show the book has been read, used and devoured. But, this is the biggest dogear I've seen in a long, long while. Part of the charm of second-hand books is the little secrets, clues, gems and history they offer.
Now, I'm off to Egypt as part of the Storygraph, Read Around the World Challenge. Maybe I'll see you there!
