i was thinking that we need a term for proprietary/centralized software
"prisonware" came to mind, and was reinforced when i saw a post describing google as a prison 🗝️most people don't know what proprietary, or centralized mean in terms of software, much less that they are bad 🤷♀️

And now on top of everything google is trying to mandate DRM for websites.
And governments have already jumped on the bandwagon of controlling endpoint software ...
#Prisonware for all.
As if it wasn't all broken enough without that #totalitarian shit on the horizon.
I'm so furious ... and it's not as if people weren't trying to come up with alternative solutions.
