Poor Lucy had to go to the vet today to get spayed. Everything went well but she was not happy at all with this turn of events and she's currently sleeping it off.

I had 34 staples and several stitches removed from my knee and leg today. And you know what? It didn't hurt a bit. I feel free. Now it's a week of steri-strips and then my leg gets to be au naturel.

I got an A+ rating on my progress from both the doctor and physical therapist. I still have a long road ahead of me, but it seems I'm starting out well.

I took the bandage off my knee. Oh boy is my leg ugly! Like Frankenstein ugly. Staples galore and stitches. And so much bruising! I took a photo of my leg for personal keepsake. (I won’t be sharing the photo because it’s the stuff of nightmares.)
