I applied for a postal vote early last month. It did not arrive.
No explanation from the local government apart from "the form was not received."
Today I went to the polling station. Masked. With ID.
I invited the election officer to step outside if they wanted me to remove my mask. They declined. They OK'D my right to vote and gave me my ballot form.
I protected my health.
Job done.

Voting is a privilege, and an integral way of how we can show up in our version of democracy.

Every vote matters. If you don't know who to vote for, or all of your local candidates are vile snakes, turn up and spoil the paper. Spoikt papers are counted.

If you don't turn up, #staticisticians have no idea whether you forgot, couldn't be bothered, started to go then got distracted orr were so angry about the state of everything that you, essentially, gagged yourself.
