Do you see what I see?! 🤩 The bell pepper is blooming! ❤️
(No idea which variety. I put a few seeds in soil, when I eat a veggie from the supermarket :) Windowsill-kitchen-scraps-garden =D)

A dramatic and detailed close-up capturing the classic beauty of white garden chrysanthemums (mums) with stunning yellow centers. Bring the elegant beauty of a vibrant autumn garden into your home or onto your favorite apparel! This photograph highlights the intricate texture of the petals, with the flowers softly illuminated against a dark, moody background, creating a striking contrast and a captivating sense of depth. The delicate, slightly ruffled white petals are set off by the glowing, sunny yellow heart of each bloom, making this piece feel both fresh and richly textured.

  3. Good morning tooters. It was a lovely 13c when I climbed out of bed at 6am & went straight outside, planted & watered in the purple leafed basil & the chamomile I bought yesterday. Looking forward to watching them grow & spread. The basil is called purple ruffles & is quite pretty. The chamomile I planted in the same bed & behind the Dogwood, it’ll make a lovely green carpet with little white flowers next to the Thyme with is pink flowers. Today it’s heading up to another warm 32c, but at the moment it’s lovely with a cool breeze. There was a few drops of rain last night, so I’m not bothering to water today.
Meeting my walking buddy for lunch today, not that we’ve walked much lately. I’ve been swimming instead & my friend has had a number of things on her plate as well. So this will be a really good catch up before all the Christmas crazy grabs us.
First up though I’m going to shower & then do a gentle Balance class to settle & calm me. Not that I’m not settled & calm, but it doesn’t hurt to reinforce it.
    Have a fabulous #Thursday everyone, I hope the day is kind to you all 🌻. #Weather #Garden #Planting #GoodFriends #Exercise.

  4. A new tool for the #marketgarden made mostly from workshop scraps: A wide #rake to mark drills for #sowing and #planting.
Originally, I wanted to use the metal rake in the first picture for this, but the angle of the pins was just not right.

So I made one from two pieces of batten, a handle bought (as a hoe) from a discounter for 7€, some wood dowels and a bit of hose.

My beds are 80cm wide so the distance between the outer pins is 70cm. This way, I have 5cm to the edges on each side.
There is a total of nine pins. Depending on the number of pieces of hose I put on, I can mark up to nine rows on the bed in one go.
The bed has to be flat though, but here the metal rake comes handy.

    7€ and 1 1/4h work - I'm pretty chuffed.
