    It saddens me that I haven't seen one memorial post about Philadelphia's premiere rock DJ, Pierre Robert being gay.

    Robert's death is sad. He was an icon in Philly and beyond. But let us not forget that representation matters. There are LGBTQ kids who don't fit the gay stereotype. They need role models too. Pierre definitely fit that bill.

    Rest in peace, Mr Robert. MMR will not be the same without you.

    My mother, more then 10 years older then #PierreRobert, just call me. Said she had a great time at this with her #Swedish friends at this #restaurant that we had been to before. Could not remember where it was or what it was called. I told her we should go there again.
